Lighting and Location

Spotting and assessing suitable locations is vital in the role of director of photography. My skill in being able to visualize how a location or scene with transpire to the page of a magazine has been highly commended. Visualization is crucial in order for each page of a finished product to be filled with  mood, character and personality.

I believe I have a highly attuned ability to inject substance of light into the image and to capture and use artificial light for the most gentle parts of the photographic moment.

My ability to introduce and in some cases combine natural and artificial light in each shoot is one of the important tools for the production of the story. My knowledge of lighting techniques and tools allows me to use one at a time or combination of various lighting equipment.

Skin tone control is often achieved by merging artificial and ambient light from foreground to background.
